Love Cut Silver Interview, 2022.
I produced this interview as part of a mini creative documentary project. The aim was to share the story and personality behind the jewellery made by Love Cut Silver. We shot with a small crew, on location and used two cameras to capture an intimate conversational interview as if the viewer was sat in Constance's studio themselves.
Ambiguous Monstrosities, 2023.
My audio-visual project entitled Ambiguous Monstrosities: The Monstrous Becoming of the Art-Horror Final Girl. The piece explores the final girl figure in the context of the modern art-horror genre, examining the figure through an updated lens to discover how a visual language of ambiguity is used to obscure the female protagonist’s character and transforms it into a monstrous one.
Please Hold, 2022.
Please Hold is a light-hearted and off-beat short film directed and produced by me and written by Oliver Rodgers. The film follows a young woman who, in attempting to get her boiler fixed, has somehow ended up with a very strange guest in place of a boiler repair man through a fault in booking.
The Petite Project, 2023.
A short video essay I created to explore the child figure in The Florida Project (Sean Baker, 2017) and Petite Maman (Celine Sciamma, 2021), and the embodied world which both films construct in order to tell their stories through the child lens.
My Baba, 2023.
Two examples of original reel content made this year for a My Baba's instagram page. Creating original video content has helped the brand to reach wider audiences and increased engagement by boosting interest.
